At the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a meeting was held between Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić and Head of the Special Department for War Crimes Ivan Matešić with colleagues from the Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor’s Office, Chief Prosecutor Snežana Stanojković, as well as her colleagues Vasilij Seratlić and Mioljub Vitorović.
They discussed the processing of cases transferred from Bosnia and Herzegovina for further processing to the judiciary of Serbia, as well as general cooperation in the joint fight against impunity for war crimes.
The cooperation of prosecutor’s offices is extremely important for work on war crimes cases, especially in cases where suspects or accused are unavailable due to their stay in another country, the BiH Prosecutor’s Office said.
