Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an Indictment against Vladimir Vasić, born on 30 January 1987 in Bugojno.

This accused person is charged with hiding a larger quantity of medicaments in the trunk of the passenger’s vehicle he drove, on 07 April 2018, while attempting to exit Bosnia and Herzegovina and enter the Republic of Croatia at the Border Crossing in Gradiška. For the trade in such medicaments a special approval of an authorized body is required, and the accused attempted to smuggle those medicaments from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Croatia.

Members of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina detected the aforementioned accused person and prevented him from perpetrating the said criminal offence.

This accused person is charged with attempting to move across the customs line, by avoiding customs control measures and without appropriate approval, goods the export of which requires special approval or approval from an authorized body, whereby he committed the criminal offense of Smuggling of Goods, as referred to in Article 214 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
