12736470_1104288312955457_2021078865_nAfter questioning the suspects, prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH will submit a proposal for ordering custody for Slobodan Pavlović, Petar Lazić, Ljiljana Garić and Blaga Blagojević.

“The proposal for custody will be submitted due to reasons described in the article 132 of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH which, among other things, includes risk of absconding, due to a reasonable fear that, once released, in an effort to disrupt and prevent the criminal proceedings against them, the suspects might destroy or hide evidence and clues important to the criminal proceedings, influence witnesses and accomplices and that, if released, they might commit another criminal offense or complete the initiated one,” the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH stated.

The suspects are under investigation in a case which refers to criminal offenses of financial crime, related to the operations of Pavlović Bank in Bijeljina, as well as the operations performed by the bank owner, Slobodan Pavlović.

As a reminder, upon the order by the prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, members of SIPA arrested on Thursday Lazić and Garić, employees of the Pavlović Bank in Bijeljina, the bank owner Pavlović and his former first associate Blagojević.
