Yesterday, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to Russia, Zeljko Samardzija, solemnly handed over his credentials to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, after which he spoke about the relations between Russia and BiH.
During his welcome address, President Putin pointed out this in front of 23 ambassadors:
“We value friendly relations with BiH. We underline mutual interest in the further development of bilateral connections in the political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian fields. We will actively promote this,” he told.
He further emphasized that Russia, as the guarantor state of the Dayton Peace Agreement for BiH, is committed to its strict observance.
“Russia fully supports the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH, the equality of the three constituent peoples, as well as the two entities with broad constitutional powers,” he added, Klix.ba writes.
