Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the capital Moscow, the Kremlin said on Thursday, reports Anadolu.
The meeting was held on Wednesday evening. The Russian president said that they have the opportunity to discuss the entire complex of their relations.
Saying that the situation in the region “tends to deteriorate”, Putin added that there are many promising directions for trade and economic ties between Russia and Syria.
