Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet in the Kremlin with the delegation of Republika Srpska, which will also attend the Victory Day celebrations on May 9, the Russian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Yuri Ushakov said that the delegation of Republika Srpska will traditionally attend the celebrations in Moscow on the occasion of the Victory Day celebrations.
The delegation includes the President of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan, the President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić and the President of the SNSD Milorad Dodik.
The parade in Moscow is a reminder of the Great Patriotic War and the enormous sacrifice made by the Soviet people.
Victory Day over fascism is marked in memory of May 9, 1945, when the capitulation of Nazi Germany ended World War II in Europe.
