visoko 1Even if the tourist season in Visoko has not officially started yet, the good weather attracted a large number of guests last weekend in the Bosnian valley of pyramids, writes “Dnevni Avaz”.

In addition to local tourists from BiH, at locations of the tunnel Ravna near Visoko and at the Bosnian pyramids of the sun and the moon there were guests from Slovenia, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and other European countries.

The finder of the pyramids Semir Osmanagić was not in BIH for the last few days. He is spending his time in the US, Qatar, Kuwait, and until the beginning of the international working action of volunteers MRAV 2013. Osmanagić will hold lectures in Mexico, Bulgaria, Serbia and BIH. At the pyramid of the sun we found Bosnians who have been living in the Netherlands for several years. Nedžad Ibrahimagić  is here for the first time with his family and did not hide his delight at what he saw.

“This is my first visit to the pyramids. To be honest, I believe that something here exists and I believe that it is something really attractive for history and for the future as an extremely important archeological site’’, said Ibrahimagić, who was born in Zenica.

A large number of Slovenians were also thrilled with what they saw, and at the entrance of the tunnel Ravna we found a larger group of Slovenians from Koper, and among them was Irina Groboljšek, who was here several times already.

“I am delighted because I have been here several times and every time I return to show my friends what this is all about. I am most impressed with the tunnels and the energy that you can feel inside, and it is very important how I feel before and after I enter the tunnel. The difference is really felt’’, said Groboljšek.

The official start of the new archeological season and the international working group action MRAV 2013 is 2 June, but tourists are coming to Visoko in large numbers. Namik Ruvić sells interesting souvenirs that he makes on his own, and he says that the best customers are Slovenians, Austrians and Germans.

“These are souvenirs, but also products that come directly from Visoko. Something is usually being sold, despite the economic crisis in Europe’’, said Ruvić.
