12804429_1736675146569162_97459970_nRadoncic’s lawyer Asim Crnalic commented the reaction of the Prosecution of BiH on ordering the custody to Fahrudin Radoncic, as proof of the existence of the rule of law, and stated the opposite, that the reaction of the Prosecution of BiH is evidence that the rule of law does not exist at all.

“I am surprised by the reaction of the Prosecution of BiH, and I am openly claiming that their reaction is a proof that the rule of law does not exist,” said Crnalic.

To recall, the Prosecution released a statement to the public and criticized certain media captions, which stated that the case of Fahrudin Radoncic is political or mounted process.

“Ordering the custody in the case of Fahrudin Radoncic, is the proof of the existence of the rule of law and the message that nobody is above the law. We are pleased that the citizens and the public of our country recognized the efforts of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the fight against corruption and illegality, which does not consider anyone as untouchable or politically protected. Defendant in this case will be processed as all other defendants, regardless of his political position, financial status or any other circumstances, because all citizens are equal before the law,” as emphasized from the Prosecution of BiH.

Crnalic emphasized that the defense has not received a decision of the Court of BiH on ordering the custody to Fahrudin Radoncic, and therefore they have not filed the appeal yet.

“We will not reveal what we are planning to state in our appeal yet, but there are many things that we do not agree regarding the Court’s decision,” said Crnalic.
