Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on Tuesday that if Israel launches another attack on Iranian territory, the situation “will be completely different” and that “there will be nothing left of the Zionist regime.”

Addressing students and professors at the University of Lahore in Pakistan, Raisi said Iran had punished Israel for attacking the Iranian consulate in Syria, referring to the April 14 drone and missile attack on Israel.

Israel launched a drone attack on a military base in the central Iranian city of Isfahan early Friday, but Iranian authorities say they foiled the attack.

Raisi pointed out that Iran and Pakistan have a common position on “defending the oppressed people of Palestine”, adding that Tehran will continue to proudly defend the Palestinians, AA writes.
