Ramadan Book Festival begins in Sarajevo

book fairThe fifth Ramadan Book Festival begins in Sarajevo today. According to proposition of the book festival, only BiH publishers from the entire BiH can participate in the sales part of the festival.

This year as well, the festival continues with activities from previous years and bestowing the citizens remains the permanent commitment for this and every future Ramadan Book Festival.

“Within every campaign of collecting and donating books to some of the poorly-equipped BiH libraries, during previous festivals we supported libraries in Zvornik, Bosanska Dubica, the flooded library in Maglaj and the library in Goražde. This year, we decided to donate books to the library Grapska near Doboj, which is being founded now,” the organizers stated.

The Ramadan Book Festival will be opened until July 2 at the plateau of the Square of the Children of Sarajevo.
