At the Square “Trg Djece” in Sarajevo last night was official opening of Ramadan Book Festival that offered to citizens a wide selection of books and handicrafts with very reasonable prices. The event was opened by the co-chair of the City Council of Sarajevo Miro Lazović (SDU).
According to Ajet Arifi, the director of the publishing house “Connectum”, which is the organizer of the festival, there are planned cultural events as well as distribution of somun, coffee, soft drinks and desserts to citizens.
“Among other things, citizens will have the opportunity to participate in a public discussion with eminent personalities from various art and musical scenes. It is foreseen as well, the setting with photos and pictures from the art workshop of Zekerijaha Nalić “, said Arifi.
The calligraphy expert from Turkey, Suleyman Berk, will be guest of festival during three days and will give as a gift to visitors calligraphic printed names.
