The Council of Ministers is scheduled to consider the request to initiate a vote on the reconstruction on Monday, March 17, at the proposal of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

The Council of Ministers is also scheduled to consider draft laws on the protection of trade secrets as intellectual property rights, on the protection of topographies of semiconductor products, on patents and on seals.

The Council of Ministers announced that ministers should also consider draft laws on representation in the field of industrial property rights, as well as on amendments to the Law on Industrial Design.

The proposed agenda also includes the Proposal for the BiH Economic Reform Program for 2025 to 2027, the draft basis for initiating the procedure for conducting negotiations to conclude an agreement between BiH and the Netherlands on international road transport of passengers and cargo, and the Draft Loan Agreement between BiH and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which is intended for the development policy of the health sector.

A discussion on the proposal for an integrated border management strategy and the Action Plan for the implementation of the Integrated Border Management Strategy in BiH for the period 2024-2029 is also planned.

Also on the agenda is a proposal for a decision on the establishment of a working group for the development of a strategic framework for cybersecurity in BiH, a proposal for a decision on the appointment of members of the Management Board of the Insurance Agency in BiH, as well as information on the demining plan in BiH.

The Council of Ministers of BiH should also discuss the Report on the work of the BiH Airspace Management Committee for the previous year and proposals for decisions on determining the annual quota of work permits for the employment of foreigners in BiH for this year and the Rulebook on the internal organization of the BiH Border Police.

The Report on the participation of members of the Armed Forces of BiH and police officers in peace support operations from 1 July to 31 December of the previous year will be considered under the “confidential” mark.

The session will be held on Monday, 17 March, at 1:00 p.m.

As a reminder, this session was supposed to be held yesterday, but was canceled due to a lack of quorum, given that the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Staša Košarac, stated at the X that “Serbian ministers will not attend the session of the Council of Ministers of BiH, because they will be in Banja Luka at a meeting between President (Milorad) Dodik and representatives of the Serbian people.”
