Međunarodni_aerodrom_SarajevoThe FBiH Ministry of Transport and Communications said that by the end of the summer season (August 2013) there was a record number of passengers in one month in the history of the FBiH.

There was a total of 101.899 passengers, which is 26.116 passengers or 25,63 percent higher than in August 2012. For the first time, more than 100.000 passengers used the services of the FBiH airport in one month. In the first 8 months of 2013, a total of 525.913 passengers were transported, which is 72.251 passenger of 13,74 percent more than in the same period last year.

The Mostar and Tuzla international airports continue to record very significant results regarding passenger transport. This was made possible by the efforts of the FBiH Minister of Transport and Communication Enver Bijedić to eliminate airport taxes at these two airports, allowing the introduction of low-cost airlines for the first time in B&H and allowing the development of airlines transport.
