Record Revenues from Indirect Taxes were collected since the establishment of the ITA

Record revenues from indirect taxes were collected in 2022 since the establishment of the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

Revenues from indirect taxes in 2022 amounted to 9.9 billion KM and are higher by one billion and 480 million KM or 17.53 percent compared to the same period in 2021 when it amounted to 8.4 billion KM.

The ITA returned KM 2.09 billion to the economy in 2022, which is KM 573 million more than in the same period last year.

The net collected revenues that were distributed to users in the period January-December 2022, namely the state, the entities and the Brčko District, amounted to 7.8 billion KM and are higher by 907 million KM compared to the revenues from the Single Account users received for the same period in 2021.

An amount of 865 million KM has been allocated for the financing of state institutions in 2022. A total of 4.3 billion KM was allocated to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2.3 billion KM to Republika Srpska and 240 million KM to Brčko District.
