After three months of preparations in the village atmosphere Hajvazi in northeastern Bosnia, yesterday is completed a 12 day shooting of documentary film “Basna o Bosni”.
The film is recorded based on the idea of Merima Karić, mentored and directed by professor Šemsudin Gegić and produced by the Academy of Dramatic Arts, University of Tuzla.
The film tells the story of an interesting and unexplored phenomenon called Kalesijska music – a kind of movie comedy del arte, announced the Academy of Dramatic Arts, University of Tuzla.
The film explores the way and illuminates sixty years occurrence of original folk musical expression that originated and is still tied for areas of the Northeast Bosnia. “Basna o Bosni” is an autobiographical movie of the gifted recluse that spend their entire lives playing and singing from house to house, from village to village, from prison to factory … “, explains in a statement.
Samra Mahmutović and Haris Šertović, students of the fourth year of the study program acting in the class of Professor Selma Alispahić and second year students of professor Jasmina Čelebić are the actors of this movie.
Zoran Pavljašević, producer, has done the production and realization of this film together with assistant director and editor Damir Pirić and organizer Amar Mehmedinović.
