Rectors Avdispahić and Karli Talked with Nanić on University Accreditation

univerzitetDirector of Agency for development of higher education and quality insurance Husein Nanić had separate meetings with the rector of Sarajevo University Muharem Avdispahić  and with the rector of International University Burch, Gunai Karli on Friday in Sarajevo. The topic of meetings was the accreditation of these higher education institutions.

Rector Avdispahić informed director Nanić that Sarajevo University has already started with the procedure and has renewed the application for accreditation to relevant Ministry of education, science and youth of Canton Sarajevo.

He also pointed out that is recently appointed the Managing Board of University, thus is completed the integration process.

Relevant issues from the field of higher education with the emphasis on the importance of internationalization of higher education in B&H and implementation of Erasmus plus program were discussed during the meeting.

According to the rector Gunai Karli, Burch University will submit the request for accreditation by middle January 2014.
