Red Cross Helps to Flooded Areas

red crossBy order of the Cantonal Administration of Civil Protection Sarajevo, the logistics department of the Red Cross of Canton Sarajevo conducted the packing of 120 food packages and 1,000 bottles of 1.5 liters of drinking water for the needs of the population in the municipality of Centar which was affected by floods.

Following the instructions of the Board of Civil Protection of Canton Sarajevo packages of food and bottled water were delivered by the vehicles of the Red Cross to warehouse in KS Fire Brigade in the municipality of Centar.

“From the central warehouses of the Red Cross of FBiH 130 packages of bottled water were sent by the volunteers of the Red Cross and later divided to the population of flooded areas of Stup, Bojnik and Rakovica,” announces the Red Cross.
