Volunteers from the Red Cross of Canton Sarajevo gathered yesterday in front of the Cathedral in Sarajevo and organized a gathering and promotional activities in order to demonstrate the importance of volunteering and building a healthier and more humane society.
Youth representative of the Red Cross in Canton Sarajevo Sandra Kovačević said that the situation of young volunteers today is a bit better than earlier, thanks to the Law on Volunteering and that most of the volunteers decide to become volunteers out of humanitarian reasons.
