Regina to Sing at Eurovision 2015?

reginaBHRT, the state broadcaster for Bosnia & Herzegovina, doesn’t have its house in order. After BHRT failed to confirm its Eurovision 2015 participation at the end of October, the EBU, in order to confirm more countries for Eurovision’s 60th anniversary next May, decided to extend BHRT’s deadline. It ended on Friday. Thus far the broadcaster’s plans — and potential participation — have not been made public.

And that is fueling further speculation about potential artists BHRT may call upon. According to popular Bosnia-Herzegovinian newspaper Avaz.ba, the band Regina has received an invitation from BHRT after its plans to work with Eurovision alums Hari Mata Hari fell through.

The four-piece band Regina represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at Eurovision 2009 with the song “Bistra Voda”, which secured Sarajevo a very pleasurable ninth place.
