Local elections will be held on October 2 this year and registration is open until July 19.

To all those who were registered to vote from abroad on the last elections in 2014, the CIK BiH will deliver to home address the PRP2 forms which they need to fill in and, with a copy of one of the valid ID documents enclosed, send to the CIK BiH until July 19. They can already now download the PRP2 form from the webpage of the CIK BiH, fill in, attach or enclose a copy of valid ID documents, and deliver to the CIK BiH. They can do it electronically, by sending an email on the address prijavapp@izbori.ba, via fax 251-333 or 251-334, or via mail to the address Izbori u BiH, mailbox 451, 71000 Sarajevo; the CIK BiH stated.

Citizens of BiH who were not registered to vote from abroad on the last elections, and want to exercise their right on the Local Elections 2016, use the PRP1 form, which also contains instructions for filling in the form and the list of documents that must be provided, as well as the information about the delivering of documents to the CIK BiH.

CIK BiH also opened two info phone lines where the voters can get all necessary additional information or explanations regarding the registration of voters. Phone numbers are 033/251-331 and 033/251-332. Phone lines are active on working days between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

In accordance with the article 16.9 of the Election Law of BiH, public electronic media in BiH are obliged to publish radio and TV commercials, announcements and information of the CIK BiH free of charge, so that the voters would be informed about all aspect of the election process.
