Zracna-luka-MostarThe delegation of Mostar Airport participated at a meeting of the Executive Committee of IPA AIR NET project in Italy, early this week. On this occasion, leaders of the airport held a meeting with representatives of the Italian airline Mistral Air, and the topic of discussion was the introduction of a regular airline Mostar – Rome.

The negotiations for the introduction of regular airline Mostar – Rome in March 2014 continued at the meeting in Italy. The final confirmation of this information is expected in the next month.

The introduction of regular air line Mostar – Rome would have a great significance for Herzegovina because the Italian airport is linked to all parts of the world.

Until now 55.000 passengers have passed through the Mostar Airport and by the end of the year about 70.000 passengers are expected. In 2012 a record number of passengers was marked, which was 78.000.
