Although it was announced that one of the participants of the first European summit on Islamophobia, which will be held from the 24th to 26th of June in Sarajevo, will be Reis-ul-Ulema Husein Kavazovic, from the Islamic community denied allegations on his participation in this meeting.
“The Office of Reis-ul-Ulema informs the public that Mr. Kavazovic will not participate in the mentioned summit. The Islamic community believes that the organization of such a meeting in BiH that is dedicated to Islamophobia, should be done in its cooperation.

Although the Islamic community is not involved in the organization in any way, we hope that this gathering will produce useful results,” as said in a statement that was sent from the Office of Reis-ul-Ulema.
