The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OS BiH) have been continuously helping the vulnerable population for a month with their resources to protect their lives and material goods from summer fires. Starting today, another helicopter of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been engaged in extinguishing fires in the area of Mrkonjić Grad municipality.

In addition, since yesterday, a helicopter of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been operating to help the vulnerable population in the Nevesinje region.

In both mentioned municipalities, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and their personnel provide assistance in extinguishing fires from land as well.

As before in crisis situations, this time the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina showed that they are an irreplaceable factor when providing assistance to the vulnerable in all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Although according to prescribed procedures, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are the last or fourth factor in providing support to the vulnerable in the event of natural disasters, the resources of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are always the first on the ground and act as long as there is a need, the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
