Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH, Husein ef. Kavazovic, attended iftar dinner for users of the Soup Kitchen in Sarajevo.
Iftar was held in the Gazi Husrev-bey madrasa after the maghrib prayer in Bey’s Mosque. This was a unique opportunity for Reis-ul-ulema to attend and share the joy of iftar with around 120 users of the Soup Kitchen, who were present at the iftar.
“The best among you are those who use to people the most,” is the hadith of Muhammad p.b.u.h., with which Reis-ul-Ulema Kavazovic started his addressing.
“We can all be on service to the people regardless of their age, whether they are young or aged, more or less educated. After every difficulty comes relief. Every time we ask God Almighty for help when we find ourselves in a difficult life situation, and there is no one who has not experienced that, Allah will help us,” said among other things Reis-ul-ulema.
“The Islamic community always have and always will help as much as it can,” concluded Reis-ul-Ulema Kavazovic in his addressing.
Finally we should add that the iftar was also attended by Deputy Reis-ul-Ulema mr. Husein ef. Smajic, then Director of the Gazi Husrev-Bey Madrasa, hfz. mr. Mensur ef. Malkic and Aunt Zilha from the Soup Kitchen.
