Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) Marinko Cavara met with the Czech Republic’s Ambassador to BiH, Jana K. Lolic Sindelkova.

During the discussion, Cavara and Ambassador Sindelkova jointly assessed that relations between the two countries are friendly and without open issues, emphasizing the quality of cooperation so far between BiH and the Czech Republic, confirmed by numerous bilateral agreements signed to date.

Particular emphasis was placed on the Czech Republic’s support for BiH on its path toward the European Union (EU).

The Ambassador also expressed support for the reform process that BiH is currently undergoing, expressing hope that BiH will soon fulfill the remaining obligations from the 14 priorities required to open accession negotiations.

At the end of the meeting, they agreed on the need to continue the good cooperation between the two countries, noting that there is significant room for improving economic cooperation, especially in the fields of energy, communications, tourism, education, and culture, according to the Office of the Deputy Speaker of the PABiH House of Representatives Marinko Cavara, reported by the PABiH Public Relations Department.
