On a prosecutor’s order, an investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes is attending the Golo Brdo-Vrela site, Bratunac municipality, where he is coordinating the work of authorised officers carrying out the process of exhumation and search for the mortal remains of missing persons.

Skeletal remains of human origin, more specifically of an elderly male person, were found at the site, which will be sent for further forensic medical processing and the process of establishing identity through DNA analysis. The exhumation site is also attended by representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons, a doctor-pathologist of forensic medicine, as well as police officers from the Police Station Bratunac, who are securing the site.

During the day, the exhumation process will also continue at the Voljevica site, Bratunac municipality.
