Remains were found in Vlasenica during Exhumation

According to the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an exhumation process is being carried out at the Raca site in the municipality of Vlasenica, during which the remains of one person were found.

An investigator from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is present at the location, who is conducting the exhumation process under the supervision of the acting prosecutor. as well as police officers of Police Station Vlasenica who secure the location and perform criminal technical work.

“The remains will be transported to the Tuzla Memorial Center for further anthropological processing and sampling to determine the identity of the person through DNA analysis,” the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH said.
