Renzo Daviddi Held a Meeting with the Association of Journalists in B&H

renzo1Deputy Head of the EU Delegation in B&H Renzo Daviddi and the representatives of the Assocation of journalists in B&H met today.

The EU Delegation in B&H and the OHR EU send a strong support to the journalists “who are doing their job in a professional way” and also support the freedom of speech.

They pointed out that respecting the internationally accepted principles on which journalism is based is very important. The freedom of speech is, as they stated, one of the things closely observed during the process of adhesion to the EU.

“We salute the strong and visible intercession of the local media community across b6H as one of the key piers of the civil society in the country and encourage them to continue talking about all issues relevant in the media sector.” – stated Daviddi after the recently held gatherings of journalists in B&H. – was communicated from the EU Delegation in B&H.
