In the BiH entity Republika Srpska, repeated early elections for the president of the entity are being held today at 136 polling stations in 17 constituencies.

All polling stations open at 07:00 and close at 19:00.

84,474 voters have the right to vote in the new early elections for the president of Republika Srpska.

14,584 or 17.32% of voters voted at 136 polling stations by 11:00 a.m., the CEC announced.

Elections in Zvornik and Bratunac and Brčko District without problems

In Zvornik, elections were repeated at 53 polling stations.

In Bratunac, the elections are taking place, for now, without any problems. 13 polling stations were opened on time and without delay, where 6,500 voters were registered.

In Brčko District, repeated elections are held only at the polling station in Slijepčevići.

Incident in Doboj: Clash between observers and Sanja Vulić

One of the biggest incidents happened in Doboj. Immediately after the incident in which SNSD vice-president Sanja Vulić took part, she said that she reacted to the disturbing and unprofessional behavior of the observers. Vulić asserted that he did not have the right to see her personal document, and that he did not have the right to follow the vote from close range. On the other hand, observer Stamenko Popović, who had to give a statement to the police, said the following:

“When I came in front of the polling station, a lady came out, honestly, let her be as angry as she wants, I didn’t recognize her, that it was Sanja Vulić. Of course, I had my phone in my hand because I was still getting text messages and he wrote that she demonstratively left the polling station. And, at that moment, someone came behind her and said: “Sir, don’t record”. I say to him: “What am I filming?” The militia was also an obvious witness to everything. I showed the phone and said: “Here, please see what the last recording is. Is it a recording or a photo”. The police took it”.
