It was reported to the Banjaluka Police Department this morning at 8:28 a.m. that a bomb had been placed in the premises of the City Administration of the City of Banja Luka.

Police officers of the Police Administration Banja Luka are on the spot and are taking all measures and actions in accordance with the Instructions on the behavior of members of the MUP in the event of a threat with a planted explosive device or some other dangerous means, the police pointed out.

Employees were evacuated.

At the same time, a certain number of citizens gathered in front of the building protesting the alleged holding of an extraordinary session of the City Assembly.

“This morning at 8 o’clock I came to work regularly. I saw councilors who allegedly received a telephone and oral invitation to continue the session, and I scheduled a regular session for February 1,” said the President of the City Assembly, Ljubo Ninković, for RTRS.
