korupcija_doktoriThe signing of the contract on installation of anti-corruption program “Ethics Line” of the Clinical Center of Sarajevo University and Net Consulting Company took place today in Sarajevo.

Director of the Clinical Center of Sarajevo University Damir Aganović said that as the biggest health institution in B&H they have a moral and professional obligation to establish a quality system to combat corruption, which will be followed by other public institutions.

He emphasized that the Clinical Center of Sarajevo University for already six months works to develop the most optimal modalities for submitting reports on possible cases of corruption, adding that the program will be put into operation in one month.

“The program we are aiming is the anti-corruption program “Ethics Line” of Net Consulting Company, which will be installed on the website of the Clinical Center. This program is intended for reporting on corruption and excludes the possibility of patient complaints on the quality of services, because for these types of complaints the Clinical Center of Sarajevo University has formed a special commission for comments on health care services”, he said.

Citizens and employees will have to fill a special form when reporting a corruption case or bribery case in health care services. The advantage of this program is that the application (reporting) cannot be removed or corrected, meaning corruption reports which will be sent to the system “Ethics Line” cannot be misused.

“Our goal is to discover, consider and get rid of any irregularity at any level. Those who are proven to have caused any damage to our institution, should be sent before the competent authorities”, said Aganović.
