Police officers of the Federal Police Administration (FUP) on Tuesday, October 13, in the territory of the West Herzegovina Canton, implemented an operational action codenamed “KAMEN”, in cooperation with the police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the West Herzegovina Canton – PU Gruda, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, acting according to the order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On that occasion, a person with the initials N. M. (1980) from Konjic was deprived of his liberty, who is suspected of committing the criminal offense of “Unauthorized drug trafficking” under Article 195 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Acting according to the aforementioned order, a search was carried out on the person and the cargo motor vehicle – a tow truck, during which around 100 kilograms of substance that, by its appearance, is associated with the narcotic drug Cannabis, several mobile telephones, as well as other items that can be linked to the execution of the aforementioned criminal offense, were found and temporarily confiscated.

The person deprived of liberty was taken to the official premises of the Federal Police Administration for criminal processing, after which, together with the Report on the committed criminal offense, he will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further processing.

The Federal Police Administration continues its activities to detect and document criminal offenses in the field of illicit traffic in narcotic drugs, in cooperation with the competent police and judicial institutions – the FUP announced.
