Reports of Bombs in several Cities in Republika Srpska

The Banja Luka Police Department received reports this morning that several primary and secondary schools in the city received messages about explosive devices placed in school buildings, Srna news agency was told by the department.

The police are acting on the reports in accordance with the Instructions on the Procedure of Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Event of a Threat by an Explosive Device or Other Dangerous Means.

Students and teachers of the “Sveti Sava” elementary schools in Zvornik and “Jovan Cvijić” elementary schools in Drinjača were evacuated from school buildings after a warning about explosive devices was received in the school email, Srna was told by the Zvornik Police Department.

The police are acting on the reports in accordance with the Instructions on the Procedure of Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Event of a Threat by an Explosive Device or Other Dangerous Means, the Police Department added.

In the Doboj area, seven primary schools received a report about explosives this morning, Srna was told by the President of the Assets of the Directors of Primary Schools in the Doboj Region, Ljubiša Blagojević.

Blagojević points out that all children have been evacuated.

The application for the school in Drinjača was received at around 7:15, and for the school in Zvornik at 7:25.
