Presidents of HDZ and HDZ BiH, Andrej Plenkovic and Dragan Covic, noted the importance of supporting quality relations between the two countries, changes to the Election Law of BiH and equality of Croats as a constituent people in our country.

“It is very important for the HDZ that the electoral system is fair and to result in the election of legitimate representatives of all three constituent peoples,” noted Plenkovic after the meeting.

Covic emphasized that the HDZ BiH and all of their partners are working hard in order to make the European path of our country as a priority of the foreign policy and to activate the NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) by the end of the year.

The two leaders talked about numerous infrastructure projects that should further strengthen relations between the two states – the bridge in Svilaj, Gradiska, the border between Kostajnica and the Peljesac Bridge.

“I believe that we will open two Croatian consulates in Vitez and Livno soon as well,” stated Covic.

“We want to ensure the minimum that the Croatian people can choose their representatives both in the Presidency of BiH and in the House of Peoples,” stated the President of HDZ BiH.
