Representatives of the International Agency for Credit Rating “Standard & Poors”, which establishes a sovereign credit rating, will be in BiH from 12-14 March for an official visit

Officials from these agencies will hold a series of meetings in BiH in order to determine the current political and economic situation in our country.

On the political pressures the officials of “Standard & Poors” will speak with representatives of opposition parties, business communities and syndicates, and apart from these topics, they will speak about economic policy, public finance, fiscal and monetary policy, and the financial system.

The agency announced that during the meetings they will discuss political stability, BiH Council of Ministers, and the 2014 elections on the possible outcome of the elections.

Key topics of discussion will be constitutional reform, possibility to receive candidate status for EU accession, and the future of the Office of the High Representative in BiH.

One of the key issues is the establishment of a single economic space in BiH.

They will also speak of the relations between BiH and the IMF, World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
