International Humanity Foundation Switzerland (HIFS) was founded in Lucerne, Switzerland, and it is aimed for intensive and effective connection between BiH and Bosnian-Herzegovinian emigrants.
Establishment of the Foundation, which set very broad and ambitious plan of their future activities, was attended by the Minister for Human Rights and Refugees at the Council of Ministers of BiH Semiha Borovac, Prime Minister of Canton Sarajevo Elmedin Konakovic, delegate of Reis-ul-Ulema in BiH, Zijad Ljevakovic as well as businessmen from BiH, Switzerland, Turkey, Macedonia, Qatar, Germany, and other parts of the world.
The founders of the Humanity International Foundation Switzerland (HIFS) are Vehbija Efendic, Husein Omerspahic, Mario Vrbat, Halim Grabus and Jasmin ef. Demic.
The Foundation aims to support economic entrepreneurship, scientific, humanitarian, cultural and promotional, socio-educational and other projects, and to bring together businessmen, promoters of traditional values of BH society and time in which we live.
It was emphasized that the Foundation, exclusively, has charity and incentive function, it is independent in their work, it is not intended for making profits, nor it depends by any means on nationality, ideology, or political parties.
The ceremony was also attended by representatives of BH cultural, educational and sporting life, director Ademir Kenovic, actors Enis Beslagic and Emir Hadzihafizbegovic, athlete Amel Tuka, football player Elvir Bolic, musician Eldin Huseinbegovic, as stated from the press service of the Foundation.
