Representatives of the HDZ BiH and the political parties that make up the “Eight” reached an agreement on the formation of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The president of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, said that the division of departments has been agreed upon, and that he expects this process to be completed as soon as possible.

“Today we can say very clearly which portfolios out of 16 of them belong to one or the other coalition of the party. With that, we immediately linked the dates by which we have to appoint ministers,” Čović said.

As he stated, the coalition partners have until March 28 to send proposals for the names of new ministers, after which the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lidija Bradara, should appoint the Government and send it to the Vice Presidents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for signature.

The participants of the meeting also signed an agreement that is an addition to the signed guidelines, and concerns program definitions and areas.

The meeting in Mostar was attended by the leader of the HDZ BiH Dragan Čović, the president of the SDP BiH Nermin Nikšić, Edin Forto (Our Party), Elmedin Konaković (NIP), Semir Efendić (SBiH), Jasmin Emrić (NES), and representatives of the BHI KF and PDA, BHRT reports.
