Political analyst and columnist of “Dnevni Avaz” Fadil Mandal was a guest on the “ N1 television. In a conversation with the editor and host of the show, Dalibor Mrdic, Mandal talked about many topics, from the new indictments in the Memic case to the energy crisis that threatens us with the arrival of colder weather.
To begin with, congratulations were sent to the basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), which opened its performance at the Eurobasket with a victory against Hungary (95:85). Also, the topic that started the conversation was the hacker attack on the Facebook page of “Dnevni Avaz”.
Colleagues from “Avaz” and the editors went to the police, reported the case, and are looking for a reaction from the Prosecutor’s Office and other competent authorities. It is an attack from which some political messages can be extracted,” Mandal believes, stating that there should be no doubt that the parties in power are ready for anything to stay in power.
”We are yet to be surprised and we are yet to see to what depths and to what dangerous intentions they are ready to go in order to stop the departure from power, to stay in power, to prevent others from taking over power. It is interesting, to mention the case of N1 television and the “Avaz” portal. If you look at the topics that N1 and “Dnevni Avaz” open, these are topics that deeply affect the interests of the ruling structures. There is the murder of Dzenan Memic, which N1 and “Avaz” have been following for a long time, then you have the schemes that “Avaz” published in connection with the Sky application and the connections of high police and political officials with the ruling structures. N1 is doing the same as well.”
”So, at least for me, there is no doubt that it is about political pressure, that it is about the pre-election campaign trying, I would say, to stop or discourage the media from reporting on topics that for the parties in power are those that bring them down, that are not in their favor and which expose their crime and corruption,” Mandal pointed out, Avaz writes.
