At the sixth working session, representatives of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly adopted the budget for the current year, which amounts to 1.4 billion BAM.
32 representatives were present, of which 20 voted “for”, while eight representatives were “against”.
The amount of 1.4 billion BAM is an increase compared to the previously proposed draft budget which amounted to 1.2 billion BAM.
Before proceeding to the vote, representatives in the CS Assembly asked questions to the ministers regarding the manner in which financial resources will be distributed by department.
CS Minister of Education Naida Hota-Muminović said that this budget provides funds for the inclusion of students with disabilities, as well as the procurement of work equipment for children with disabilities.
