Rešidat handed Financial Support for going to the World Cup to Amel Tuka

support2Minister of Culture and Sport of Canton Sarajevo, Samer Rešidat, received the best B&H athlete Amel Tuka, and on this occasion, handed him a financial support for the preparation of his trip on the upcoming World Championships in Athletics 2015 in Beijing.

Tuka thanked Rešidat for being among the first ones to congratulate him on the successes he achieved on three meetings held in Velenje, Madrid and Monte Carlo.

“Ministry of Culture and Sport is the first institution from which we received financial support that means a lot to us at this moment,” said Tuka with gratitude for received support.

Tuka set his personal record with time of 1:44:19 first in Velenje, only to triumph again in Madrid with a new score of 1:43:84. He achieved his best result so far in the Diamond League in Monte Carlo where he celebrated with a time 1:42:51.

Rešidat said that the Ministry will always be available to the best ambassadors of our country in sports.
