Sarajevo Film Festival is coming to Mostar again this year. For the fourth year in a row, the citizens of Mostar and their guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the festival program from August 11 to 18.

Films from the program of the 29th Sarajevo Film Festival will be shown in two time slots: at 6 p.m., screenings will be held in the Cineplexx Plaza Mostar cinema, and at 9:30 p.m. in the open-air cinema – in the BH Telecom Summer Cinema Mostar (Plaza Center plateau).

This year, the Sarajevo Film Festival will once again bring numerous films to the audience and bring together film professionals from all over the world.

In addition to Sarajevo and Mostar, the festival program will also be held in Tuzla from this year – the screenings are on Slobode Square, in the outdoor summer cinema, in the BINGO Summer Cinema Tuzla.

After this year’s Sarajevo Film Festival, screenings and part of the festival program are planned in Visoko, Gradačac and Jajce.

“In cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, we will work even harder to strengthen the cinema capacities of local communities through cooperation with local partners and other film festivals. In the Federation of BiH, with the support of the Cinematography Foundation, digitalization is planned in 13 municipalities and cities by the end of the year, and with the new activities, the goal is to network film partners and expand and strengthen cinema culture in BiH. Tuzla and Mostar are examples of how we can do a lot together for the domestic audience and the domestic industry,” said Jovan Marjanović, director of the Sarajevo Film Festival.

The 29th Sarajevo Film Festival will be held from August 11 to 18, 2023.
