Revenues of Indirect Taxes higher for 5 Million BAM

In January 2017, 483 million BAM of indirect taxes was collected, which represents 5 million or 1.03% more than in January 2016, when the revenue from VAT, excise duties, customs duties and road taxes amounted to 478 million BAM.

After the completion of the VAT refunds, revenues from the Single Account of the ITA in January was distributed as follows: to finance state institutions an amount of 61 million BAM, to finance Federation of BiH a total of 211 million BAM, the Republika Srpska 106 million BAM and Brčko District 11 million BAM.

As a reminder, in 2016, ITA collected record revenue from indirect taxes, which amounted to 6 billion and 638 million BAM and revenues were higher by 284 million or 4.48% compared to 2015 when they amounted to 6 billion and 354 million BAM.
