Romantic Proposal in newly opened Trebevic Cable Car

Trebevic cable car was officially put in operation after 26 years, and besides all the other ceremonies, its new life was marked with the romantic marriage proposal.

The Trebevic cable car was officially opened yesterday, but there were several test rides in the previous days, which were mainly intended for journalists, invitees, politicians and other officials. However, employees of PE Sarajevo could not refuse Almir Bihor who asked them to let him propose to his girlfriend Jasmina Drinjakovic in the Trebevic cable car.

“I proposed to her on April 4, during the test ride. I managed to realize my idea thanks to my friend who works on the cable car and who asked for a permission for the test ride. We got the permission, made a lap and got engaged. It was really beautiful,” said Almir.

His fiancé Jasmina Drinjakovic will remember this great surprise and beautiful moments with her future husband forever.

“The idea was really original, we got the opportunity to enjoy the ride before the official opening. There was also the proposal, which is the most important to me. Everything was just great, well organized and beautiful, and I said yes,” said Jasmina.

Yesterday, the cable car was reopened after 26 years and it is a symbol of the city of Sarajevo. Now it has 33 gondolas, and their capacity is 10 seats.
