Numerous fans arrived at Sarajevo International Airport yesterday to see one of the greatest football players of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The great striker arrived in Sarajevo with the Portuguese national football team, which will play today in Zenica against Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

The fans chanted Ronaldo’s name on that occasion, and some went so far as to bring cardboard characters and mascots of their idol to the airport.

The players of Portugal entered the buses directly from the runway, and then, under heavy security, they headed to Zenica, where they will be accommodated for the next two days.

The fans of the famous Portuguese who gathered at the Sarajevo airport were thus deprived of seeing their idol live.

Namely, security measures were implemented in the Zenica hotel yesterday morning. The parking lot is closed to the public, as is the hotel, and the Portuguese national team members arrived a little after 3 p.m.

It should be mentioned that the match between BiH and Portugal will be played tonight at the Bilino Polje stadium in Zenica, starting at 8:45 p.m., Klix.ba reports.
