Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo said today that the 2026 World Cup will be his last. Asked during a video conference at a tourism forum in Riyadh whether the 2026 World Cup would be his last, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner replied: “Yes, definitely. I’ll be 41 and I think it will be the right moment.”

Ronaldo, who currently plays for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, remains the captain of the Portuguese national team and the most effective player in the history of national teams.

The 2026 World Cup will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
