RS Flag removed from the Corridor in Presidency Building

After BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik’s administration put the flag of Republika Srpska entity in front of his office in the BiH Presidency building, it was removed at the request of Sefik Dzaferovic.

Although former Serbian members of BiH Presidency held RS flag in their cabinets, Dodik made a precedent in receiving letters of credentials of Serbia’s ambassador to BiH Aleksandar Dorđevic by putting RS flag beside the flag of BiH.

After that, the flag was moved to the hall, in front of Milorad Dodik’s cabinet.

The cabinet of BiH Presidency member Sefik Dzaferovicand Zeljko Komsic have sharply reacted because the common premises are used by all members and employees of the BiH Presidency, so the flag of the entity from the corridor was removed in the afternoon.

“Emphasis of any other flag from Bosnia and Herzegovina along with the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the official international visits on which BiH participates or is represented is a direct violation of the Law on the Flag of BiH,” was written in a joint press release by Komsic and Dzaferovic, Klix reports.
