RS Government Adopts Decision On Minimum Wage Increase

The Government of Republika Srpska (RS) has adopted a Decision on the minimum wage in this Bosnian and Herzegovinian (BiH) entity for 2026.

Accordingly, the minimum wage in RS is set at a gross amount of 1.476.23 BAM, that is, a net amount of 1.000 BAM.

The minimum wage for jobs requiring at least a completed secondary education lasting three years is set at a gross amount of 1.558.19 BAM, that is, a net amount of 1.050 BAM.

“The minimum wage for jobs requiring at least a completed secondary education lasting four years is set at a gross amount of 1.672.13 BAM, that is, a net amount of 1.100 BAM,” they explained.

They add that the minimum wage for jobs requiring at least a completed post-secondary education is set at a gross amount of 2.081.97 BAM, that is, a net amount of 1.350 BAM.

“The minimum wage for jobs requiring at least a completed higher education is set at a gross amount of 2.245.90 BAM, that is, a net amount of 1.450 BAM,” the RS Government stated.
