Minister of Security of BiH Fahrudin Radončić met yesterday with the High Representative in BiH Valentin Inzko.

They said that the basis for efficient and better BiH is functional Council of Ministers and functional institutions on the level of BiH. Progress towards Euro-Atlantic integration, and respect for the rule of law is crucial for stability and future of BiH.

Radončić said: ” BiH wants to join the EU, and because of that we must consistently fight against all forms of crime. Therefore, the Ministry of Security will give its full support to state law enforcement agencies in order to strengthen their capacity to combat organized crime and corruption.’’

The High Representative was pleased to hear clear messages from Radončić about the police independence because it is one of the key conditions for professional work of the police.

Inzko supported the ministers intent to fight organised crime and corruption in BiH, noting that OHR and the Ministry of Security of BiH have an excellent cooperation in the field of migrations and asylum, which is the part of the ”5+2” program.

Radončić and Inzko expressed their desire to continue the good cooperation of the Ministry of Security of BiH and OHR.
