Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic said that a key topic during his upcoming visit to Brussels will be the activation of the MAP.
“We will talk about the registration of assets, military assets and the condition that we found. Now we have 26 locations registered and we can witness great progress in this regard,” said Chairman Zvizdic and added that the key objective for BiH is to obtain candidate status for EU membership by the end of the year.
The Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament announced the exchange of views with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic on June 19, in Brussels. Discussion of the current political situation in BiH and preparation of answers to the Questionnaire of the European Commission is expected at this meeting.
From the Office of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH was announced that Zvizdic will use this opportunity for bilateral meetings with European parliamentarians.
Two days later, that committee, together with the Subcommittee on Security and Defense, will hold a special session dedicated to the current situation in the Western Balkans. Among others, this meeting will be attended by Deputy Commander of the Allied Forces of NATO in Europe and Commander of NATO forces in Kosovo.
As previously announced, the focus of this meeting will be on “regional perspective in the assessment of specific risks of each country individually and security environment that is changing.” Chairman Zvizdic will attend this meeting as well.
