The mentioned decision enters into force on the day following the day of its publication, after which the Ministry, in accordance with the regulations in the field of incentives for direct investments, will issue a public call for funds and carry out the procedure for granting incentives.

At yesterday‘s session, the Government of the RS also considered the Analysis of the Application of the Law on Incentives in the Economy of the RS, the subject of which were incentives to increase the salaries of workers awarded in four accounting periods and covering the period from July 1st, 2019 to June 30th, 2021 and direct investment incentives which were awarded in 2019 and 2021.

“Based on the Analysis of the Application of the Law on Incentives in the Economy of RS, it can be concluded that the allocated incentives had an effect and justified the expected results, and the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship is of the opinion that incentives in the economy should be maintained with recommendations for improving existing legal solutions,” it was explained in the announcement.
